Reasons which prompted the Human Rights Commission of the American Congress to reach a hearing because the country's opposition leader Sam Rainsy was expelled from parliament, with the ruling party following the allegations of defamation and beaten, kicked two lawmakers.

Human Rights Commission named Tom Lantos added:

Subtle intimidation action is being seen as part of a broad campaign to Hun Sen's crackdown on government critics and set the conditions for the election in 2018.

Speakers are coming presentation of human rights experts from a number of organizations such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Network and Cambodian Khmer citizens.

Deputies James P. McGovern, co-chair of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission and lawmaker Alan Lowenthal, a member of the committee will join his opening remarks at the meeting.

This is a new action of the US legislative body of the country's political evolution, which reached this stage tense.

It's the same move of the United States in late November, the US State Department, told the hearing of the US Senate that the democracy in the country recession and the United States worried about the upcoming elections could lead to violence.

At the beginning of December 3, 16 members of Congress wrote a letter to Prime Minister Hun Sen's request to stop the harassment and intimidation of the opposition in the country and allow Sam Rainsy to return to the country without fear and without persecution.

The United States is focusing the attention on Asia and the National Assembly see it as providing an opportunity to focus more on human rights issues and there is a change in this area.
